Citizens Online Police Reporting System – 2/19
The Zion Police Department has a policy that requires all complaints to be received and investigated. State law requires that citizen complaints be notarized. The Zion Police Department has a notary in the records division Mon. thru Fri. from 8am- 4pm for your convenience. If our notary is not available you may take your complaint to any notary of your choice.
Once your complaint has been notarized you may bring it into the police department or mail it to:
Zion Police Department
2101 Salem Blvd.
Zion, IL 60099.
The Zion PD, like any good organization, attempts to resolve complaints when they are first reported and at the lowest level, the Patrol Sergeant. Please always feel free to come into the police department and ask for the on-duty Sergeant or the Lieutenant in charge of the patrol division to resolve your complaint.
